Soulgood Launches Vegan Refrigerated Ready Made Meals To Go
New Vegan Retail Brand âmebien Foods Will Be Sold In Markets on University Campuses
Soulgood is introducing a new vegan retail product line to be sold on university campuses called âmebien - that's French for soul good starting on May 19, 2022.

The new vegan brand is a product line curated and created by owner and operator of Soulgood vegan cafe in Denton, Texas on the campus of Texas Woman's University, Chef Cynthia. âmebien will include savory meals and its dessert line inspired by Chef Cynthia's travel around the globe with ideas cultivated and highlighted on her Chef Cynthia Eats Instagram, YouTube and Amazon Echo channels where she is launching season 2 Summer 2022.
âmebien Foods includes ready to heat and eat vegan meals in eco-friendly packaging and is tied directly to the founder's mission to give back to the community and environment. Each prepared meal and dessert sold will continue the tradition of donating 5% to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to find a cure for CF and other nonprofit organizations whose missions align with the company's.
"I love traveling and I love discovering traditional dishes in other countries that I can recreate using plants in an innovative way using sustainable practices," shares Chef Cynthia, Head Creative Chef and Founder of Soulgood.

The new retail line will be sold in the refrigerated section of the convenient retail stores located on the Texas Woman's University campuses in Denton and Dallas for local college students to have access to meals they can heat and eat in the dorms after the local restaurant closes. Savory meal options include a vegan Puerto Rican Arroz con Pollo, Italian Spaghetti and Meatballs, and Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Rice to name a few. Chef Cynthia's vegan desserts are a hit on the campus and now will be available under the âmebien brand and sold on campuses as an option for vegan and flexitarian students, faculty, staff and visitors.
"Soulgood's purpose is to make plant-based foods affordable, accessible and convenient and our partnership with Chartwells Higher Education has allowed us to do just that for traditional and non-traditional college students looking for plant-based options," states Chef Cynthia.
Soulgood's vegan cafe is open to the general public and has experienced a successful launch with 5-star reviews for its convenient service, fresh and hot foods made from scratch, and friendly service. The new retail product line to be sold on university campuses is a the fifth expansion opportunity for Soulgood to reach more consumers looking for food that reminds them of home but just happens to be vegan.
